Joint CCH3/BAH3 Tubing Trail

We’re all going to get wet! Come out for a shiggy trail with tubing option!  Non-tubers get to continue on trail.  BBQ lunch with all the fixin’ included!  BYOB for tubing, Boh provided until it runs out.

When: Sunday May 22. 10 am pre-lube (Pre-lube is behind the Monkton Station building). 11 am pack away

Where: Torrey C. Brown (formerly NCR) Trail Monkton Station 1820 Monkton Rd, Monkton, MD 21111. From I-83 N, take exit 27 and turn right on Mt. Carmel Road. Turn right on York Road and make a quick left onto Monkton Road. Follow it until it crosses the Torrey C. Brown (formerly NCR) Rail Trail. Monkton Station will be on your left.

*Limited parking in lot. More parking along road before the bridge

Cost: Rego $40 to get a tube!  Trail only hashers, no tubing, pay $10 at trail (no rego). Bring your own tube and pay $20 at trail (no rego).  If you didn’t bring a tube and you didn’t rego, you can rent a tube for $30 next door from Monkton Bike, 1900 Monkton Rd.

Hare notes:  Runner/walker trail A to Aish.  Float-able children and aquatic dog friendly.  Bring a dry bag, bathing suit, a towel, and shoes you can wear both on trail/in the river. Bring a vessel or beverage cover for tubing. You’ll probably want sunscreen and bug spray.

***Late comers/tubing only – follow walkers trail to the beer check.  Tubing begins between 12:30-1 pm.
