Trail #96

Baltimore City is hosting Light City, a large-scale, international light festival! Lights=safety, as any six-year old with a monster under the bed will happily attest.  Baltimore City is showing its’ fellow commitment to safety, and so in solidarity we want everyone to remember, safety is our third priority!  Wear ALL your blinkie lights from old proms that you keep locked in a keepsake drawer because they still smell like Hunter from AP Biology; wear your Christmas lights that only work intermittently when you screw them (in) just right; wear LED Lights because you ARE the brightest even if you only got waitlisted at Dartmouth; wear your hard hat from that Village People costume where you wanted to be the hot leather daddy, or at least the hot cowboy, but you got stuck with the tepid construction worker and the only good thing about that scenario was that now you knew, unequivocally, where you were in the social pecking order of that particular group of friends; wear your safety vests for safety dancing; wear your cranium lamps (bring these 4 real),  and NEON. Neon shorts, neon shirts, neon pants, neon hats, and neon underwear.   But don’t wear neon condoms because we don’t want to overdo it, that would be tacky.  Just wear regular condoms, duh. If you aren’t safe enough…..

Transport: The Caroline St garage 2 blocks away is $4  Friday after 4 PM, so there is local garage parking.  If you are going to take a vehicle, I would recommend parking there to avoid the hassle of street parking in Fells.

Charm City Circulator (free!) both the orange and green lines have stops less than 2 blocks away. You can also take the free harbor connector across from tide point (under amour) before 7 PM.

Trail Notes: Trail will be A to A’.  Runner’s trail and modified trail for walkers.  Bring neon and cranium lamp. There will be lots of muggles out and about, muggling about through Light City.
