For those that have never been to the Crown: If you walk in and think to yourself, am I in the right place? Then, Yes! you are in the right place. Go upstairs and look for wankers.

TRAIL NOTES: Trail is A to A’, runner and walker friendly, walkers trail will be stroller friendly.  Bring a dry bag and head lamp. Trail is dog friendly, prelube and on-after are not.

Transportation/Parking: Start and On-After are just a few blocks north of Penn Station, for anybody that wants to take the MARC, the free Circulator (Purple Route), or any of a number of buses. Also close to Mt Royal light rail stop. There is also free street parking available (free after 6pm) and the Theatre Parking garage at 1714 N. Charles St. just a couple blocks south of start.

(Corner of Charles and North)  We’ll head (w.s.h.?) to their famed “4 Hours of Funk” party for some drinks and drunken dance moves.  It’s a monthly party with a random mix of 70’s funk music and plenty of beer on tap.  You can bring in your own food from some of the nearby places (Korean BBQ, Sofi Crepes, Joe Squared, McD’s if you’re so inclined) or Hands can help hook you up with some extraordinary pizza (see above).  They have a $5 cover if you get there really late.

For anybody staying in town Friday overnight, later in the wkd there is Baltimore’s Privateer Weekend in Fells Point (pirates pirates everywhere!!!) and for any foodies, there is EmporiYUM going on in Inner Harbor, both happen on Sat and Sun.
